Ongoing support

Fractional product and delivery support

Aught provides ongoing product and delivery support around a defined initiative. We can own a workstream, work alongside your internal team and coordinate agreed specialists. A fractional arrangement can give the work a continuing owner while keeping responsibilities, capacity and review points explicit.

01

Start with the work that needs ownership

The assignment might involve developing a product, implementing selected technology or maintaining progress across a backlog. We begin with the objective, the decisions already made and the people involved. Together, we agree what Aught owns, what remains with your team and where additional expertise is needed.

Ben Shaw leads each engagement. Specialist participation is agreed for the work. Capacity, leadership, priorities, acceptance criteria and reporting are defined in the scope so that expectations can be reviewed against actual delivery.

02

Plan for continuity and transition

Ongoing support should leave your team with a clear picture of the work, its dependencies and its operating needs. We agree the documentation, working assets and knowledge needed for continuity, along with a route to bring the capability in-house where appropriate.

The arrangement can continue, change or conclude at a review point. Regulated decisions and specialist authority remain with the people appointed to make them. The aim is accountable progress within an agreed remit, with a practical handover whenever the work changes hands.

Questions

Common questions

Can you work alongside our existing team?
Yes. We define responsibilities and communication around the people and capability already in place.
Does a project automatically become an ongoing engagement?
No. Continuing work requires an agreed scope and arrangement. A focused project and ongoing support are separate choices.
