Implementation

Insurance software implementation

Aught helps insurers, managing general agents, insurance programmes and technology providers put selected software to work. We can scope and deliver the customer journeys, configuration, workflows and integrations around a platform, with testing, documentation and operational acceptance agreed from the start.

01

Start with the platform and the work still needed

An existing platform and an approved requirement are useful starting points. We look at what the software already covers, what needs configuring, what needs building around it and which dependencies could affect delivery. The scope makes clear who provides access, who makes decisions and who accepts the result.

The work can include a customer-facing experience, an internal tool, onboarding, a connection between systems or a workflow that supports your operations. We distinguish customer-specific implementation from changes to a provider’s core platform; permissions and responsibilities need to match the work.

02

Make handover part of the assignment

Before development begins, we agree functional requirements, testing, operating needs and the assets your team will receive. Source access, hosting, third-party rights, maintenance and any continuing support are addressed for the actual implementation. A provider or its customer can commission Aught, with the respective roles made explicit.

The result is an agreed implementation assessed against its requirements, with a clear route into use and ongoing ownership.

Questions

Common questions

Do we need a separate discovery or validation project first?
No. A chosen platform and an approved requirement can be enough to begin scoping implementation. We identify any unanswered questions that affect the work.
Do you require a particular software vendor?
No compulsory vendor purchase is part of the offer. The scope depends on your requirements, existing technology, access and permissions.
